Season 2 of Andor will arrive on Disney+ screens in April and, in the meantime, Lucasfilm has shared a new behind-the-scenes video that shows some spectacular sequences and previews the protagonists' situation.

The streaming debut will take place with the first three episodes of the last chapter of the story that will then connect to what was told in the film Rogue One.

Andor 2 previews

In the video published online, the protagonist played by Diego Luna can be seen as he becomes an important piece in the fight against the Empire, while the rebels must join forces in the hope of defeating the enemy.

The video also shows some of the characters who were introduced in the saga on the occasion of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and of whom new details related to their past will be told.

Everyone will be put to the test and in the twelve episodes, divided into four chapters, it will be revealed how the betrayals, sacrifices and plans of each of them will become even deeper and more important.

The prequel series of the film

The show made for Disney+ is linked to the film in which a heroic group of rebels steals the plans for the Death Star, the Empire's weapon of mass destruction.

The Andor series is set five years before the events of the feature film to tell the story of the film's hero, Cassian Andor, and his transformation from a selfless and cynical nobody to a rebel hero on the path to his epic destiny.

The first chapter (ep. 1-3) will debut on April 23, followed by the subsequent chapters, with three episodes each, every Wednesday.
